So- It seems I am still learning new lessons. Yesterday the heat index was 110 so I thought what a great day to fill up our pool and hang out in it. Abby was out for around 4 hours total and Emily and I were only about 2. When Abby came in the house she immediately told me she had a headache and then layed on the couch for an hour and then told me she was going to throw-up. I guess she got some mild heat stroke. So, the lesson here is even though they are playing in cold water they still can't be out for that long at a time when it is this hot!
The other things I have learned lately are more pregnancy related.
-You are just as excited and anxious for the 3rd as you are the 1st.
- You still worry about everything that could go wrong with the baby and feel totally relieved when you get to hear that little heartbeat (170's).
-Not every pregnancy is the same, this one is very different than my first two (maybe it's a boy this time??)
- I am way bigger this time around. I can't even button my pants anymore and with both girls that didn't happen until around 17-18 weeks.
I am coming up on the 12 week mark this week- Yeah!! I am hoping the nausea lifts soon. It has seemed to get a lot worse this week again so I am hoping it is just my hormones switching and it is going to be getting out of here for good!
Funny things-
While at the dr. hearing the heartbeat Abby said it sounded like a washing machine.
After I got dressed the other day Abby walked in the room and said, "Mom, You are baby huge!" Just for clarification, I am not that big yet. I am bigger now though than I was with either of the girls at this stage.
Emily comes up and kisses my belly and says, "I love you baby in mommy's bummy." It is the most precious thing ever.
Both girls are so excited for this baby and that makes it even more fun. It will be great to have them at ages that they know what is going on and can help. I love it!

Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to my dad! Without him I wouldn't be here and couldn't have this beautiful family that I do! I love you Dad!
I am a day late in posting this but I really wanted to. I was just off spending time with my hubby and girls yesterday and didn't have a chance.
Happy Father's Day Joel! You are such an inspiring dad, you make me want to be a better mom just to somewhat compare to you. You are so gentle and good to our little girls. I know they will grow up with all there questions answered, "Am I lovely, Am I worthy." Thank you for that! I don't want my little girls to need to go out and find love. I want them to be secure enough in all the love they have that they can wait on God's timing! Thank you for being the kind of dad that Abby wants to marry when she gets big. They sure are the most precious things we ever did! I am so grateful for them and you!

Scripture verse
Mathew 6:34
"Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
In this day and age it is so easy to worry. I worry about our economy and what shape our world will be in 4 years. I worry about our health system, what we will and will not be allowed to teach concerning Jesus Christ. I worry if they will take away my right to homeschool, my right to go to the church of my choosing, my right to freedom. All these fears are something that could very much become real. In fact, they are looking more and more real all the time. Yet, they are not for today. My immediate things I need to focus on today are getting my kids fed, keeping them safe, playing with them, paying some bills, doing some light housecleaning, and that should be all I am worrying about today. I am really working on taking one day at a time and not worrying about anything until I have to for that day. If it doesn't affect me today than I choose not to think about it. This is a really good verse to keep us grounded in that! Whenever my mind starts to drift to worrying I am going to repeat this verse over and over. I hope it helps you too!

Time to do something
Pastor's wife's letter
How's this for apocalyptic literature. This was written by a pastor's wife in biblical prose as a commentary of current events.
And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity that the people of the land called America, having lost their morals, their initiative, and their will to defendtheir liberties, chose as their Supreme Leader that person known as "The One".
He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but He hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent to save you. My lack of experience,my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and my association with evil doers are of no consequence. For I shall save you with Hope and Change.
Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the land that he who preceded me is evil, that he has defiled the nation, and that all he has built must be destroyed."And the people rejoiced, for even though they knew not what "The One" would do, he had promised that it was good; and they believed.
And "The One" said "We live in the greatest country in the world. Help me change everything about it!" And the people said, "Hallelujah! Change is good!"
Then He said, "We are going to tax the rich fat-cats." And the people said "Sock it to them!" "And redistribute their wealth." And the people said, "Showus the money!" And then He said, "Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody" And Joe the plumber asked, "Are you kidding me? You're going to stealmy money and give it to the deadbeats??" And "The One" ridiculed and taunted him, and Joe's personal records were hacked and publicized. One lone reporterasked, "Isn't that Marxist policy?" And she was banished from the kingdom!
Then a citizen asked, "With no foreign relations experience and having zero military experience or knowledge, how will you deal with radical terrorists?"And "The One" said, "Simple. I shall sit with them and talk with them and show them how nice we really are; and they will forget that they ever wantedto kill us all!"
And the people said, "Hallelujah!! We are safe at last, and we can beat our weapons into free cars for the people!"
Then "The One" said, "I shall give 95% of you lower taxes." And one, lone voice said, "But 40% of us don't pay ANY taxes." So "The One" said, "Then I shallgive you some of the taxes the fat-cats pay!" And the people said, "Hallelujah!! Show us the money!"
Then "The One" said, "I shall tax your Capital Gains when you sell your homes!" And the people yawned and the slumping housing market collapsed. And Hesaid, "I shall mandate employer- funded health care for EVERY worker and raise the minimum wage. And I shall give every person unlimited healthcare andmedicine and transportation to the clinics." And the people said, "Give me some of that!"
Then he said, "I shall penalize employers who ship jobs overseas." And the people said, "Where's my rebate check?" Then "The One" said, "I shall bankruptthe coal industry and electricity rates will skyrocket!" And the people said, "Coal is dirty, coal is evil, no more coal! But we don't care for that partabout higher electric rates."
So "The One" said, "Not to worry. If your rebate isn't enough to cover your expenses, we shall bail you out. Just sign up with ACORN and your troubles areover!" Then He said, "Illegal immigrants feel scorned and slighted. Let's grant them amnesty, Social Security, free education, free lunches, free medicalcare, bi-lingual signs and guaranteed housing..." And the people said, "Hallelujah!!" And they made him King!
And so it came to pass that employers, facing spiraling costs and ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers. Others simply gave up andwent out of business and the economy sank like unto a rock dropped from a cliff. The banking industry was destroyed. Manufacturing slowed to a crawl. Andmore of the people were without a means of support. Then "The One" said, "I am the "The One" - The Messiah - and I'm here to save you! We shall just printmore money so everyone will have enough!"
But our foreign trading partners said unto Him, "Wait a minute. Your dollar is not worth a pile of camel dung! You will have to pay more..." And the peoplesaid, "Wait a minute. That is unfair!!" And the world said, "Neither are these other idiotic programs you have embraced. Lo, you have become a Socialiststate and a second- rate power. Now you shall play by our rules!" And the people cried out, "Alas, alas!! What have we done?"
But yea verily, it was too late. The people set upon "The One" and spat upon him and stoned him, and his name was dung. And the once mighty nation was nomore; and the once proud people were without sustenance or shelter or hope. And the Change "The One" had given them was as like unto a poison that haddestroyed them and like a whirlwind that consumed all that they had built.
And the people beat their chests in despair and cried out in anguish, "Give us back our nation and our pride and our hope!!" But it was too late, and theirhomeland was no more.
You may think this is a fairy tale, but it's not. It's happening RIGHT NOW !!!
PS: PLEASE see to it that YOUR VOTED REPRESENTATIVES know your feeling about what is happening in this Great Country that we call HOME. Don't let the current administration continue without making your feelings known. The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA was founded on the basis of a PEOPLE UNITED UNDER GOD, and we need to make it known that we all want it to remain as it was founded.

We went to my grandparents and took the girls on a ride. My grandpa made these so he could give kids rides at his church as part of a fundraiser. They had so much fun. My cousin Jon and his wife Sara and their two boys were there too.
Emily wasn't sure what to think at first but she ended up loving it!

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA

Dear President Obama:
You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.
You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.
You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.
You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.
You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.
You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.
You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.
You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.
You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America' crowd and deliver this message abroad.
You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.
You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.
You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.
You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.
You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations.
You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.
You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.
You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.
You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.
You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.
You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.
Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Scary
How Scary! America is a Christian nation. Our forefounders started this nation under one God. It is very scary that we elected this man. I just hope he won't do too much more damage before his term can be up. Already he has done more than enough!

Long Lost Picture
I have a memory stick that I keep just for movies and I happened to see I had this picture on it. Isn't it precious! My dad and Emmy! I don't know when it was taken for sure but it was probably only a few months old. 
Memory Verse
"As for me, I am in your hands; do with me whatever you think is good and right"
Jeremiah 26:14
I just came across this verse today and loved it. "Do with me what you think is good and right." What I love about that is we can always expect God to do what is good and right with us if we allow Him to. We can trust Him. He has shown himself over and over to be trustworthy to lead and guide. Look at the Israelites, Moses, Joshua, Ruth and Naomi, over and over again when people commit their lives to following He comes through. They were fearful and uncertain of what was next, like us right now, and yet good came out of everything they did.
I feel encouraged. Joel and I are in the midst of making some difficult choices about where we should be moving too and how we should be paying for it ect... Knowing baby #3 is underway is also playing a part because I know I don't want to be leaving a newborn to waitress if at all possible. So, we have all these things under careful thought and prayer. There is a care taking opportunity that has come along that although it isn't ideal (it has a very long commute for Joel and he hates commuting), it may just work so we are just wanting God to guide us and what he wants for us. I want him to do what is good and right with us. I just want to always stay in his will and not venture off into my own. Never again....
