We just got home Sunday night and the girls and I leave again Thurs. morning. I need to try on my dress again for my seamstress to make sure she doesn't need to take anymore out in my tummy. It has for sure grown in the last month so I am not sure. My little brother gets married on Saturday. I can't believe it. I am just praying that the girls don't decide to sit in the dirt in the pasture (where the wedding will take place), or better yet that it doesn't rain so it is all mud.
I asked Abby what she is going to be for Caleb and Danie's wedding and she says, "a princess." How cute. They will be adorable little flower girls if they cooperate. I am then staying at my parents all next week to do a garage sale and won't come home until the following Sunday. 11 days. After that it is home sweet home, with no trips planned anytime soon. I just want to relax and replenish! This summer has been my busiest one ever I think. We are always on the go.
Jennifer's (MckMama's) baby Stellan has taken a turn for the worse again. The dr.'s actually told her he was in heart failure. Miracoulously he seems to be hanging in there and is going to Boston for another heart ablation. With how little he is and the position of this pathway they need to cut they may very well cut into an area they aren't supposed to which would mean his heart won't work. They are expecting he may need a pacemaker for the rest of his life but his parents don't care. They just want him alive and right now the only option they have for that to be possible is to go through with this surgery. If you could keep them in your prayers I know they are in need of them.
I hope everyone is enjoying this last month of summer. The weather has already been so fall like here. I love fall. It is my favorite season. The trees are so beautiful and I love the smell of the dry, crunchy leaves. I love the briskness to the air and just the feel of it outside. I really do love living in a state with 4 seasons. They all are so unique and something to enjoy out of each one. Usually I kind of dread the long winter but this year I get a baby right in the middle of it so I really have something to look forward to. Life is just such a blessing! Enjoy it!
For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the sea, causing its waves to roar. My name is the Lord Almighty. I have put my words in your mouth and hidden you safely within my hand. I set all the stars in space and established the earth. I am the one who says, you are mine! Isaiah 51:15-16

A lovely visit with siblings and cousins
This past weekend we went on a 4 hour car ride to see Joel's brother Seth and his wife Liz and their 4 kids. It was such a fun weekend. My kids have been bugging me all day about going back.
We went to this really fun waterpark a block from their home and the kids had so much fun playing in this sand part of it.

It was really neat. I would have loved to have a sand area like that to play in as a kid

There was a water table there for getting sand wet and making sand castles

What fun

Emily loved filling up that big yellow bowl with sand
Here they are in the shallow pool. The water was really, really cold and yet they still loved it. This was the most I had ever seen Emily get in the water.

We went to these beautiful gardens right by their house. The kids had so much fun running through there and seeing all the beautiful types of flowers

Good example
An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never
failed a single student before,
but had once failed an entire class.
--------------------------------------------
That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one
would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this
class on Obama's plan".
All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so
no one would fail and no one would receive an A.
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.
The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.
As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less
and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.
The second test average was a D!
No one was happy.
When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.
The scores never increased as bickering,
blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the
benefit of anyone else.
All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.
Could not be any simpler than that.

Meeting MckMama
Here was the cookies from the picnic (already half eaten by Maida :-)
Here is MckMama herself, Jennifer, and little Stellan. He was so very precious. Just sat and smiled at everyone. Jennifer is really nice too and I am glad I finally got to meet her. We actually took bradley birthing classes from the same lady and missed meeting each other back then by one class. She was in the one before me. Her other 3 children were there too. The boys were off playing a lot. Kullen is in one of the pictures Abby is in. The little boy in the orange shirt. Small fry (Macey) was just as adorable as all the pictures on her blog. It was fun to meet them.

Happenings
The secret of happiness is to admire without desiring.~Francis H. Bradley
Tomorrow the girls and I are going to meet MckMama and her precious baby Stellan. It should be fun. I just wish it was a little warmer since we are meeting at a really awesome beach. There is great play equipment there too so they should still have fun.
I work the next two nights. I ended up closing on Wed. night and all day yesterday I was just out of it. It is a lot harder to do closings pregnant because I am already tired.
I had a dr. appt. yesterday and we scheduled my 20 week ultrasound for the 20th of August. How exciting! I can't believe I am already almost half way there. My sister flies in from Sweden on Tues. and will be here until Thurs. so the kids and I are pretty pumped about that. She is coming home to be in my little brother, Caleb's wedding on the 1st of August. Next weekend Joel and I and the girls are going to visit Joel's brother and his wife and 4 kids who just recently relocated 4 hours from here. Then the girls and I are going to visit my parents for 10 days. Life just seems so busy all the time. It's good to stay busy. That is about all that is happening here. I am leaving now to get my hair cut! I have been waiting a long time. I'll post more later.

Bridal Shower
This past weekend was really busy. Saturday I went to my cousin Jackee's bridal shower and then her bachelorette party that evening. Sunday we had Danie's, my soon to be sister. My little brother Caleb who is stationed in South Korea is marrying her in 2 weeks and 5 days. We are all very excited!
