Joel and I made it safely home today. What a long, beautiful trip it was. Joel and I both feel very blessed for going. His family is so amazing! They have so many reasons to be bitter and upset with God and they aren't. In fact, they glorify him and trust him all the more. It is such a beautiful thing. His Uncle's place is gorgeous! Him and his brothers own this whole little private lake and it was surreal being there. Joel and I both come home feeling encouraged, refreshed and challenged for how we want to live our own lives.
A big thank you to my aunt Deb who came and stayed with the girls the whole time. We really, really appreciate you! It was so nice to know they were in great hands.
