Joel and I were able to go to the Toby Mac, Jeremy Camp Matthew West concert this past Sat. night. It was awesome. We went with our friends Josh and Sarah who have kids the same age as ours. It was so nice to have conversation without kids and feel like an adult again. We went out for a nice dinner and then went to the concert. It was a very high- energy concert but it was awesome. We heard some classics- like Jesus Freak and In the Light but we also heard some new things. I have been in love with the song "made to love" since I first heard it. Hearing it live was amazing. Wow--- I included the lyrics below for those of you who don't know the song. Jeremy Camp was a great perfomer and he had an awesome testimony and heart for God. He has two little girls (which of course is cool :-) ). His first wife died and it was just really neat to hear him speak about death and heaven because he had no fear of it. I live in such fear of death... It really opened my eyes to how short this life is and the only difference we can make is living it for Christ. We are supposed to be God's voice here on Earth and get as many people into heaven with us. The after life is what matters and we should be focusing on that and our whole perspective of our time on this earth would change. I a lot of times worry what people will think of me but really the time here is too short to worry about things like that. I need to only care what God will think of me. I want to hear him say "well done my good and faithful servant." I know Joel had a great time too and God spoke to him about some issues too. I am so grateful we could go.
